Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

Data protection in general

Unless otherwise stated below, the provision of your personal data is not required by law or contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. Failure to provide it will have no consequences. This applies only to the extent that no indication to the contrary is made in the subsequent processing operations.

"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Server log files

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information.

Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted to us or our web hoster / IT service provider by your Internet browser and stored in log data (so-called server log files). This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the IP address, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO due to our overriding legitimate interest in ensuring the trouble-free operation of our website as well as to improve our offer.

Hosting services by a third-party provider

Within the scope of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider provides us with the services for hosting and displaying the website. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in the correct presentation of our offer, which are outweighed by a balancing of interests. All data collected in the course of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop as described below are processed on its servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the framework explained here.

Customer account/orders

Customer account

When opening a customer account, we collect your personal data to the extent specified there. The data processing serves the purpose of improving your shopping experience and simplifying order processing. The processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. Your customer account will then be deleted.

Collection, processing and forwarding of personal data when placing orders

When you place an order, we collect and process your personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the fulfilment and processing of your order and for dealing with your enquiries. The provision of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract. Failure to provide it will result in no contract being concluded. The processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO and is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract with you.

Your data is passed on, for example, to the shipping companies and dropshipping providers you have chosen, payment service providers, service providers for order processing and IT service providers. In all cases, we strictly observe the legal requirements. The scope of the data transfer is limited to a minimum.

You can revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. We will only use your email address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted unless you have consented to further processing and use.

If you have given us your express consent to this during or after your order in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address as a reminder to submit a rating of your order via the rating system we use.

This consent can be revoked at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below.

Data collection when writing a comment

When you comment on an article or a contribution, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, comment text) only to the extent provided by you. When your comment is published, the name and e-mail address you provided will be published.

Use of the e-mail address for sending newsletters

We use your e-mail address, irrespective of the processing of the contract, exclusively for our own advertising purposes for sending newsletters, provided that you have expressly consented to this. The processing is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation. To do so, you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by using the corresponding link in the newsletter or by notifying us. Your e-mail address will then be removed from the distribution list.

Your data will be passed on to a service provider for e-mail marketing within the framework of order processing. Your data will not be passed on to any other third parties.

Analysis/Advertising/Affiliate

The data processing described below in this section, in particular the setting of cookies, is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO due to our overriding legitimate interest

- in the demand-oriented and targeted design of the website, e.g. in the case of analysis and statistics tools

- to target site visitors with interest-based advertising, e.g. in conversion tracking

- to measure the success of partner advertising and the associated correct settlement of commissions within the framework of the partner programme.

You have the right to object at any time to this processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO for reasons arising from your particular situation.

Use of Google Analytics

On our website, we use the web analysis service Google Analytics of Google LLC. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").

The data processing serves the purpose of analysing this website and its visitors. To this end, Google will use the information obtained on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation is activated on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus obliged to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de].

To prevent data collection and storage by Google Analytics across devices, you can set an opt-out cookie. Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when visiting this website. You must opt-out on all systems and devices used for this to be fully effective. If you delete the opt-out cookie, requests will be sent to Google again. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Opt-out of Google Analytics.

For more information on terms of use and data protection, please visit https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to visually display geographical information. Google Maps is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland, with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.de). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in an optimised presentation of our offer and easy accessibility of our locations, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

When using Google Maps, Google transmits or processes data on the use of the Maps functions by website visitors, which may include in particular the IP address and location data. We have no influence on this data processing.

Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

To deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent data transmission to Google, you must deactivate the Java Script function in your browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy. The terms of use for Google Maps contain detailed information on the map service.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 DSGVO, which you can view here.

Use of Google's remarketing or "similar target groups" function

We use the remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google") on our website.

The application serves the purpose of analysing visitor behaviour and visitor interests.

Google uses cookies to carry out the analysis of website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements. The cookies are used to record visits to the website as well as anonymised data on the use of the website. No personal data of visitors to the website is stored. If you subsequently visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will be shown advertisements that are highly likely to take into account previously accessed product and information areas.

Your data may be transferred to the USA. Google has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and has thus undertaken to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

You can permanently deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=de.

Alternatively, you can prevent the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information on opting out provided there.

Further information on Google Remarketing and the associated data protection declaration can be found at: https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Use of Google Ads conversion tracking

We use the online advertising programme "Google Ads" on our website and in this context conversion tracking (visit action evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").

When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked across Ads customers' websites.

The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

Your data may be transferred to the US. Google has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and has thus undertaken to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

You can deactivate personalised advertising for you in Google's advertising settings. You can find instructions on how to do this at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de.

Alternatively, you can prevent the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information on opting out given there.

You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

You can find more information and Google's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Google Fonts

The script code "Google Fonts" is integrated on this website. Google Fonts is an offer of Google Ireland Limited, a company registered and operated under Irish law with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. (www.google.de). This serves to protect our legitimate interests in a uniform presentation of the content on our website, which outweigh our interests in the context of a balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

In this context, a connection is established between the browser you are using and Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address.

Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Use of Facebook Remarketing

We use the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function of Facebook Inc (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; "Facebook") on our website.

The application serves the purpose of targeting visitors to the website with interest-based advertising on the Facebook social network.

For this purpose, the Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on the website. This tag establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when the website is visited. This transmits to the Facebook server which of our pages you have visited. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When you visit the Facebook social network, you will then be shown personalised, interest-related Facebook ads.

Your data may be transferred to the USA. Facebook has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and has thus undertaken to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

You can deactivate the "Custom Audiences" remarketing function here.

For more information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Use of Google AdSense

We use the AdSense function of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google") on our website.

The data processing serves the purpose of renting advertising space on the website and targeting visitors to the website with interest-related advertising.

By means of this function, visitors to the provider's website are shown personalised, interest-related advertising from the Google Display Network. Google uses cookies to analyse your use of the website.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. Google has certified itself under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus obliged to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/, https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Plug-ins

Use of YouTube

On our website, we use the function for embedding YouTube videos from YouTube LLC. (901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA; "YouTube").

YouTube is a company affiliated with Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").

The function displays videos stored on YouTube in an iFrame on the website. The option "Extended data protection mode" is activated. This means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to the website. Only when you watch a video is information about it transmitted to YouTube and stored there. Your data may be transmitted to the USA. Google has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus obliged to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

For more information on the collection and use of data by YouTube and Google, your rights in this regard and ways to protect your privacy, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy (https://www.youtube.com/t/privacy).

Use of Vimeo

We use plug-ins from Vimeo Inc. (555 West 18th Street New York, New York 10011, USA; "Vimeo") on our website to integrate videos from the "Vimeo" portal.

When you call up pages of our website that are provided with such a plug-in, a connection is established to the Vimeo servers and the plug-in is displayed on the page by informing your browser. This transmits to the Vimeo servers both your IP address and the information about which of our pages you have visited.

If you are logged in to Vimeo, Vimeo assigns this information to your personal user account. When you use the plug-in functions (e.g. by starting a video by pressing the corresponding button), this information is also assigned to your Vimeo account.

Your data may be transmitted to the USA. Vimeo has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus obliged to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO due to Vimeo's legitimate interest in market analysis and in improving its services in a needs-based and targeted manner.

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) (f) of the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO) for reasons relating to your particular situation.

If you do not want Vimeo to assign the collected information directly to your Vimeo account, you must log out of Vimeo before visiting our website.

For more information on the purpose and scope of the collection as well as on the further use and processing of the data by Vimeo, as well as on your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Vimeo's privacy policy: https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA

We use the reCAPTCHA service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google") on our website. The query serves the purpose of distinguishing the input by a human or by automated, machine processing. For this purpose, your input is transmitted to Google and further used there. In addition, the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service will be transmitted to Google. This data is processed by Google within the European Union and may also be transmitted to the USA. Google has certified itself in accordance with the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is thus obliged to comply with the European data protection guidelines.

The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest to protect our website from automated spying, abuse and SPAM.

You can find more information on Google reCAPTCHA and the associated data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html and https://www.google.com/privacy.
